摘要: The history of the discovery Chilean plant world can be traced back to Magallanes voyage around globe. Since then dozens naturalists and botanists contributed build corpus geobotanical knowledge country. According most recent updates, flora is composed 56 orders, 171 families, 837 genera, about 4,295 species. This includes 4 endemic 84 1,936 species continental oceanic territory. Richest families in genera numbers are Asteraceae, Poaceae, Fabaceae, Solanaceae, while species-richest Senecio, Adesmia, Viola, Carex.
