摘要: Abstract The effects of silver concentration on the structure and properties silver-activated phosphate glasses, with nominal molar compositions xAg2O·(1 − x)(30Na2O·10Al2O3·60P2O5) 0 ≤ x ≤ 10 mol%, were studied. Increasing Ag2O-content decreases glass transition temperature (Tg), increases thermal expansion coefficient (TEC) dissolution rate in water. 31P nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) Raman spectroscopies indicate that addition Ag2O leads to formation chain-terminating P-tetrahedra, 27Al NMR spectra Al-octahedra are preferred structural moiety. Optical spectroscopy indicates Ag2O-additions shift UV-absorption edge longer wavelengths. Irradiating glasses ≤1.0 mol% 60Co γ-rays creates a photoluminescence (PL) center emits near 605 nm when excited UV light (337.1 nm). intensity this PL is proportional radiation dosage (up 200 Gy), relative sensitivity maximized 0.05 mol% Ag2O. When x > 1 mol% Ag2O, second center, emitting at 470 nm, activated. associated loss for greater Ag2O-contents.
