摘要: Besides the assessment of carotid artery stenosis, evaluation vascular anatomy and lesions within both extra- intracranial arteries is crucial for proper clinical evaluation, treatment choice planning. The purpose our study was to evaluate potential dual-source CTA 3T-MRA. In 16 symptomatic CAS patients, contrast-enhanced DSCT 3T-MRA examinations were performed. For a dual-energy protocol with 64 × 0.6-mm collimation applied. high-resolution unenhanced TOF extracranial MRA All analyzed relevant morphologic pathologic features or anomalies, total 624 vessel segments scored. diagnostic image quality good excellent visibility. Almost all significantly better visualized by compared (five six vessels, p < 0.05). however allowed further morphological stenosis description, especially respect calcification. Although proved be superior in visualization smaller arteries, pre-interventionally information could perceived from DSCT. may regarded as reliable, fast, pre-interventional imaging investigation patients stenosis.
