摘要: Abstract The rising pace of urbanization may lead to two different kinds impacts i.e., i) its detrimental pressure on urban amenities and facilities ii) associated opportunities for collective growth development better economic prosperities in areas. coexistence the twin but contradictory scenarios are beginning attract researchers search a reconciliation seek complementary viewpoint looking at comprehensively within areas, especially metropolitan agglomeration (MUA). research develops methodology assess livability potential based Integrated Urban Geographic Factors (IUGFs). Focussing Kolkata Agglomeration (KUA), data has been obtained from 454 residents’. At initial part methodology, six IUGFs initiated gamut 34 variables Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). To complete also earmarked utility Ordinal Logistic Regression (OLR) model best understand significance degree KUA. result shows that positive favorable socio-cultural factors stand over enhance KUA as more livable habitable MUA.
