摘要: Much of the writing on higher education in recent years has tended to assume that new management push is both universal and irreversible. This paper, however, presents evidence from Portugal challenge assumption. While elements managerialism are clearly evident perceptions attitudes academics charge basic academic units (departments/schools faculties) country’s universities polytechnics, remains faced with a complex, contradictory conflicting set demands expectations which likely take considerable time resolve.
