摘要: Clade B serpin family of proteins regulate a variety cellular functions including cell adhesion and motility. One key member the clade is maspin (SERPINB5). Maspin classified as type II tumor suppressor that regulates invasion. It expressed in normal mammary epithelial cells but reduced benign breast tumors absent invasive carcinomas. Although apoptosis, adhesion, migration, invasion cancer culture systems, mouse models are necessary to verify this vivo. In chapter, we review development transgenic syngeneic study role tumorigenesis development.
