摘要: Based on the integrable Gaudin model and local density approximation, we discuss ground state of a one-dimensional trapped Fermi gas with imbalanced spin population, for an arbitrary attractive interaction. A phase separation state, polarized superfluid core immersed in unpolarized shell, emerges below critical polarization. Above it, coexistence matter fully normal is favored. These two exotic states could be realized experimentally highly elongated atomic traps, diagnosed by measuring lowest compressional mode. We identify as having Fulde-Ferrell-Larkin-Ovchinnikov structure, predict resulting mode frequency function
