摘要: The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the utility function A +B \sqrt{s} for approximating coaxial line series impedance (skin effect) in applications transient analysis. time domain response expansions Holt are modified terms two adjustable parameters which replace physical R and K . truncated yield condensed expressions useful analysis design. Two types terminations considered: 1) nonreflective, terminated characteristic Z_{0}(s) , 2) doubly reflective, sending receiving ends each nominal R_{0} = \lim_{s \rightarrow \infty} \sqrt{L/C} Experimental data presented on frequency insertion responses three commercial cables: RG 5B/U-68.6 m (225 ft), 21/U-96.8 (317 58A/U-137 (450 ft). Theoretical experimental sending- receiving-end voltages compared over interval from order 10 ns that \mu s. It demonstrated B can be adjusted provide functions closely approximate actual different intervals.
