The six-minute walk test (6MWT) has been used assess functional capacity in severe obesity. Objective To determine the association of BMI, total segmental composition distance walked (6MWD) during according gender obesity grade. Setting University Sao Paulo Medical School, Brazil; Public Practice. Methods Functional was assessed by 6MWD (%) bioelectrical impedance analysis 90 patients. Female presented FFM, FFM_UL FFM_LL FFM_TR. In there FFM_UL, FFM_TR FFM_LL. FFM_LL. Conclusions Total better walking BMI.
