摘要: This study was conducted using the 24 h cultured nauplii of brine shrimp (Artemia salina) as toxicity testing organism exposed to five selected trace elements (Cu, Zn, Cd, Ni, Fe). The objective determine suitability A. salina for heavy metals acute test. tests were performed after cysts hatched. screening and definitive in static non-renewal solution. Nauplii different concentration single-metal solutions landfill leachates. Mortality used end point predicted median lethal (LC50) each metal determined by probit analysis. LC50 values exposure approximately 0.28 ppm Cu, 2.47 2.72 Zn 10.23 respectively. order level is Cu > Cd Ni. However, leachates 0.08 0.01 0.11 0.10 Ni Zn. Lower all proposed there could other factors that potentially induced decreasing tolerance towards these pollutants. Thus, this proposes a sensitive bioindicator contamination.
