摘要: Poly(ethylene terephthalate)-poly(m-xylylene adipa- mide) PET-MXD6 copolymers were prepared by reactive blend- ing of equimolar PET/MXD6 blends at 285 C for different times in presence terephthalic acid (1 wt %). First, the partial hydrolysis PET and MXD6 occurs, yielding oligomers termi- nated with aromatic carboxyl groups. These quickly react ester amide inner groups pro- ducing a copolymer that may compatibilize ini- tial biphasic blend. In this homogeneous environment, aliphatic carboxyl-terminated chains, inactive blend, promote exchange reactions deter- mining formation random longer reaction time (120 min). The progress reactions, microstructure formed copolyesteramides, ver- sus was followed 1 H 13 NMR analy-
