摘要: The solar wind exerts intimate control of the configuration magnetosphere by reconnection interplanetary magnetic field with magnetospheric field. Thus controls energization proper including ring current as well transport flux to tail and consequent storage energy there. dynamics magnetopause are also controlled closely formation transfer events, twisted tubes across dayside magnetopause, arise for southward fields. Whether these connected closed lines or completely open is not yet clearly resolved.
