[Progress in microbial production of alpha-ketoglutarate].

摘要: Alpha-ketogluratate is one of the key intermediates in TCA cycle, playing an important role connection carbon and nitrogen metabolism. This article aims at stating recent research progress production alpha-ketoglutarate by microbial fermentation. First, a large group microbes have been screened to accumulate including prokaryotes eukaryotes. Second, physiological characterization over-accumulation caused thiamine defect starvation. Third, process fermentation was controlled optimized manipulation pH, dissolved oxygen cofactors. Fourth, many metabolic engineering strategies were also presented for focusing on regeneration cofactor pathway. Last, we discussed limitation current proposed future needs alpha-ketoglutarate.
