A magnetic adsorbent based on salicylic acid-immobilized magnetite nano-particles for pre-concentration of Cd(II) ions

摘要: In this research, an eco-friendly magnetic adsorbent based on Fe3O4/salicylic acid nanocomposite was fabricated using a facile one-pot co-precipitation method. The crystalline and morphological characterization of the prepared performed by field emission scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. employed as solid-phase extraction agent for separation Cd(II) ions from synthetic solutions. Some experimental factors affecting efficiency were investigated optimized. Following elution with acetic (pH 3.5), preconcentrated analyte quantified flame atomic absorption spectrometry. optimal conditions, linear calibration graph achieved in concentration range 0.2–30 ng·mL−1 determination coefficient (R2) 0.9953. detection limit, enhancement factor, inter- intra-day relative standard deviations (for six consecutive extractions at level 10 ng·mL−1) 0.04 ng·mL−1, 100, 2.38% 1.52%, respectively. To evaluate accuracy method, certified reference material (NIST SRM 1643e) analyzed, there good agreement between measured values. It successfully utilized to determine cadmium industrial wastewater samples attained recovery values 96.8% 103.2%.
