摘要: Nanosized titania having the rutile crystalline structure was synthesized at room temperature using a microemulsion-mediated system. The formed particles had diameter of 3 nm, which corresponds well with droplet size water-in-oil microemulsion used for their preparation. crystallinity monitored by both X-ray diffraction (XRD) and electron diffraction, together dark-field microscopy (TEM) high-resolution TEM. high specific surface area (∼300 m2/g) according to N2 adsorption BET equation. To our knowledge, this is highest ever reported rutile. crystals aligned in crystallographic direction forming elongated aggregates 200−1000 nm size, as observed TEM formation followed situ dynamic light scattering UV−vis spectroscopy, XRD performed on samples collected throughout duration synthesis...
