摘要: There have been ground breaking advances in the field of dog training and behaviour modification last 20 years. Traditional theories advocating use ‘dominance’ to control given way ‘force free’ techniques that rely on understanding changing dog's motivation. An entirely hands off approach is not realistic all cases veterinary practice. However routine application contemporary behavioural principles handling dogs practice can improve welfare reduce defensive aggression for benefit both patient staff alike.
