摘要: Abstract Chitosan membrane possesses huge potential application in many fields, such as biomedicine, wastewater purification and environmental protection, however, the poor mechanical property restricts its further development. In this study, chitin whisker was prepared by hydrolysis method, firstly used an interlayer to fabricate multilayered chitosan through layer-by-layer which is inspired natural materials' hierarchical structure. From results of testing, it shown that tensile strength membranes reaches up 122.8 MPa, about 2.5 times than neat (i.e. 49.5 MPa), elongation at break sharply increased well.
