摘要: Colistin is a re-emerging old antibiotic that used to treat multidrug-resistant infections in critically ill patients. It corresponds mixture of at least 30 different compounds administered as inactive derivatives. Therefore, colistin pharmacokinetics are quite difficult investigate and complex predict. However specific chromatographic methods have been made available recent years, leading series modern pharmacokinetic studies after intravenous administration the prodrug critical-care patients; these conducted by few groups only recently published. The objective this article was conduct critical review very informative provide prospective thoughts.
