摘要: The advent of genetically modified (GM) Bt rice creates the possibility interactions among crops, crop pathogens and non-target herbivores. In particular, information on how pathogen-infected Bt-expressing plants will influence herbivores is necessary to predict sustainability GM cropping systems. Laboratory bioassays were conducted evaluate potential combined impacts dwarf virus (RDV) two lines, T1C-19 (Cry1C) T2A-1 (Cry2A), green leafhopper (GRLH), Nephotettix cincticeps (Uhler) (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae). first experiment, GRLHs feeding preference tests lines compared a parental control line, MH63, conducted. As uninfected with RDV, generally preferred MH63 line over during initial 8 h, no significant following 64 h. infected there clear preferences between line. second we assessed RDV-infection status GRLH biological parameters. Egg duration, adult weights, male longevity significantly affected RDV-infected rice. Other parameters, egg hatching rate, nymph survival fecundity not influenced. We infer that interaction effect testing RDV lead enlarged pest populations, thus demonstrating growing these poses negligible risk in sustainable agroecosystems. Long-term field experiments monitor population dynamics at large scale need be carried out confirm current results.
