Radiographs demonstrated sclerosis lumbar vertebra L6 a myelogram confirmed interference to flow contrast in L4–7 region. A biopsy revealed neoplastic plasma cell infiltration. There was no evidence paraproteinaemia on serum protein electrophoresis. cat underwent hypofractionated megavoltage radiotherapy. Clinical signs resolved completely 4 years after diagnosis remains well has electrophoretically detectable paraproteinaemia. second deficits tail radiographs extensive osteolysis sacrum. sacral bone animal normoglobulinaemic. improved clinically induction chemotherapy (melphalan methylprednisolone). same chemotherapeutics were continued at maintenance doses for 4.3 years, which time there recurrence palpable mass. Cytological examination fine needle aspirate neoplasia. low concentration monoclonal detected. Vincristine administered resulting resolution palpably smaller Eighteen months into vincristine therapy, clinical euthanased, more than 6 initial diagnosis.
