摘要: Summary An isometric spiroplasma virus SpV4/B63-G1 from honey-bee spiro-plasma strain B63 of subgroup I-2 was propagated on G1 the same subgroup. Each in which SpV4 could be belonged to I-2; however, did not multiply all strains this The virions were purified by density gradient centrifugation. infective particle had a 1.24 g/cm3 metrizamide and 1.40 cesium chloride. insensitive non-ionic detergents, chloroform ether. contained circular single-stranded DNA 1.7×106 daltons. A 60,000-d polypeptide seemed only capsid protein. Multiplication curves showed that production occurred 2 6 h after initial infection. involvement lytic process release is discussed.
