摘要: Melanocytic proliferations are common in horses but the diagnosis of malignancy is not always straightforward. To improve and prognosis, markers needed. Receptor for activated C kinase 1 (RACK1) protein may be such a marker. RACK1 was originally found to characterize malignant melanocytic lesions Melanoblastoma-bearing Libechov minipig (MeLiM) and, later, human patients. Our purpose investigate value classification cutaneous horses. Using immunofluorescence, we report here that both MITF (Microphthalmia-associated transcription factor) PAX3 (Paired box 3) allow identification cells horse skin samples. Importantly, detected healthy melanocytes. Finally, labeling can used distinguish benign tumors from melanomas. Indeed, appeared more informative assess than individual histomorphological features. This study confirms provide an interesting model melanoma genesis studies. It establishes as cells. emerges important marker which contribute progress melanomas veterinary medicine.
