摘要: AbstractThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect diode laser (GaAlAs – 780 nm) on pain palpation and electromyographic (EMG) activity masseter anterior temporalis muscles. The applied muscles twice a week (four weeks). Forty-eight (48) patients with myofascial were randomly assigned between actual placebo treatments energetic doses 25 J/cm2 60 J/cm2, evaluated using VAS before, immediately after final application, 30 days treatment. Surface electromyography performed maximum dental clenching before therapy. results show there no significant statistical differences in EMG groups With regard at palpation, although both presented difference symptoms treatment, only active showed statistically reductions...
