摘要: A process for separating 1,3-butadiene from a feed mixture additionally containing at least one other C₄ hydrocarbon comprises contacting the in liquid phase with an adsorbent comprising activated or molecular sieve carbon, whereby is selectively adsorbed. The subsequently recovered by desorption desorbent material comprising having boiling point 5°C different mixture, example C₃ C₅-C₁₀ n-olefin.
