摘要: Interfaces between demixed fluid phases of binary mixtures hard platelets are investigated using density-functional theory. The corresponding excess free energy functional is calculated within a fundamental measure theory adapted to the Zwanzig model, in which orientations particles rectangular shape restricted three orthogonal orientations. Density and orientational order parameter profiles at interfaces coexisting as well interfacial tension determined. A density inversion, oscillatory profiles, Fisher-Widom line have been found mixture large thin small thick platelets. lowest corresponds mean bulk orientation being parallel interface. For platelets, complete wetting an isotropic-nematic interface by second nematic phase found.
