摘要: The dynamic response of isotropic and laminated composite plate shell structures under low velocity impact have been investigated using nine-node degenerated elements with assumed shear membrane strain fields to model the target. effects large displacement change in thickness included during formulation process element. incremental form governing equations is formulated based on Updated Lagrangian approach where geometric nonlinearities as well permanent deformation target are accounted for. Both Hertzian contact law experimental indentation incorporated into finite element program establish force history. Numerical examples presented.
