摘要: A variety of the Leucaena genus, diversifolia, was used for pulp and paper making by kraft refining processes a OD(EP)DP bleaching sequence. The same species has been suggested as an energy crop and, in fact, this shows high gross heating value; besides, appropriate characteristics making. holocellulose content higher than Eucalyptus globulus, ash lignin contents were comparable to other varieties Leucaena. Pulps with kappa number between 17 18, 21.4 cP viscosity obtained using active alkali concentration 31%. Also, sheets showed good strength properties, or even greater those others at degrees, 30 40 oSR. successfully bleached all cases below 1.5 EP stage value brightness 90%.
