摘要: Abstract This article presents a fast and suitable method to derive the spatial distribution of seabed grain sizes on tidal flats. A successful validation was carried out in Dithmarschen Bight, meso-tidal area German North Sea coast. In particular, study is built statistical correlations between observations sediment from 197 samples numerical model output flow-wave variables under specific marine atmospheric forcings. The correlation orbital velocities mean (d50) exhibited best results, but it can be affected low relative wave height ratios. methodology applied for construction high-resolution map which resulted absolute errors 16 μm 13%, respectively. proposed relationship also adopted examine scenarios field data scarcity.
