Recording of blood flow velocity waveforms in the uteroplacental and umbilical circulation: reproducibility study and comparison of pulsed and continuous wave Doppler ultrasonography.

摘要: Reproducibility of the blood flow velocity waveforms (FVW) recorded from umbilical artery and arcuate arteries on right left side placenta was examined in 8 women with normal pregnancies anterior placentas. The FVW were using a 2-MHz pulsed Doppler ultrasound system combination real-time linear-array scanner. characterized by pulsatility index (PI) systolic/diastolic (S/D) ratio. For PI, mean coefficients variation between six operator pairs 8.4%, 26%, 21.5%, respectively. These findings suggest that, clinical practice, is reproducible, but usefulness limited wide signals. Paired recordings obtained umbilical, arcuate, uterine wave continuous ultrasonography randomized order another 21 pregnant There no difference two modes for any measured waveform indices.
