摘要: As part of the US Geological Survey National Water-Quality Assessment Program, groundwater samples from domestic- and public-supply wells were collected analyzed for fecal-indicator bacteria. A holding time comparison total coliforms, Escherichia coli, enterococci was done by analyzing within 8 h using presence/absence methods 18–30 quantitative methods. The data indicate that results obtained not significantly different those coliforms enterococci, Colilert® Enterolert® (IDEXX Laboratories Inc., Westbrook, ME), respectively. Quantitative laboratory showed a statistically significant higher detection frequency when compared to following methods, E. coli Colilert membrane filtration on mEI agar. Additionally, enumeration done. Using non-parametric statistical analyses, two different. In this study, method agar more sensitive, resulted in detections easier interpret than with Enterolert method. produced varying levels fluorescence, which required additional verification steps eliminate false-positive results. It may be advantageous analyze untreated
