Analysis Model for Magnetic Energy Harvesters

摘要: Energy harvesting offers an important design option for creating sensing and control elements without a requirement custom wiring or batteries. An exciting possibility creates “self-powered” sensor node with integrated energy harvester that can extract power from the magnetic fields around line to load, in manner of current transformer. However, this “current transformer” provides not just sensing, but also package, all ohmic contact. This paper technique optimization maximizing harvest, revealing critical result: For any given core particular application, harvest is maximized when permitted saturate at opportune time cycle. Circuits optimizing transfer window experimental results supporting analysis are presented paper.
