摘要: This study focused on the effects of these demographic factors construction employees’ safety perceptions. It first initiated a theoretical framework illustrating impacts (i.e., education level, gender, and age) employee’s perceptions towards pre-defined site hazards as well their general perception. Then questionnaire survey approach was adopted in nine jobsites southeastern China followed by statistical analysis. The revealed that although not affecting hazards/accidents, could create differences other between management staff workers. Gender were found hazard/accident scenes perceptions, indicating gender issue applied consistently crossing different industries. Employees 37 46 years old tended to underestimate risks from commonly encountered hazards, suggesting needs continued refreshers for employees middle career. contributed body knowledge investigating effect three major subgroup or factors, including age, which had been sufficiently addressed subculture sub-climate.
