摘要: Article history: Results: In the present cross -section study serum lipocalin-2, leptin, insulin, HOMA-IR blood pressure, triglycerides and low-density lipoprotein (LDL-c) cholesterol were significantly higher in obese children than non-obese, whereas high-density (HDL-c) was lower. After adjustment of lipocalin-2 levels for BMI, age gender, correlation between with weight, waist circumference, body fat % metabolic variables such as fasting insulin; glucose triglycerides, cholesterol, LDL-C HDL-C remained significant. The stepwise multiple regression analysis showed that independently associated LDL-c, total HOMA-IR. Conclusions: elevated prepubertal adiposity parameters its related complications. findings suggest measurement this biomarker may be useful evaluating syndrome Egyptian children.
