Circuitos de uso de crack na região central da cidade de São Paulo (SP, Brasil)

摘要: Although drug usage has been prevalent since the dawn of humankind, abuse currently escalated alarmingly and can be characterized as a public health problem. The spread "crack," derived from cocaine paste, is worsening situation by aggravating social damages harming users. An ethnographic study was conducted in downtown Sao Paulo, SP (Brazil) locations where crack sold used order to establish impact this daily life A field diary record observations informal dialogues with people who circulate location under scrutiny. results show circuits covered users, their dynamics complex relationships other players, based on permanent tension, involving practice violence which users are both victims perpetrators. also suggests importance factors such history region question, policies, economic questions lack investments health. It suggested that advanced degree degradation researched not only result activities practiced area, but mainly urban process led scenario.
