摘要: Characterizing the genetic structure and population history can facilitate development of genomic breeding strategies for American mink. In this study, we used whole genome sequences 100 mink from Canadian Centre Fur Animal Research (CCFAR) at Dalhousie Faculty Agriculture (Truro, NS, Canada) Millbank Farm (Rockwood, ON, to investigate their structure, diversity linkage disequilibrium (LD) patterns. Analysis molecular variance (AMOVA) indicated that variation among color-types was significant (p 20 kb >100 in CCFAR suggesting density 120,000 24,000 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) would provide adequate accuracy evaluation these populations, respectively. These results accounting admixture is critical designing SNP panels genotype-phenotype association studies
