摘要: Summary 1 The urinary excretion of putrescine has been determined in female mice before and during repeated injections testosterone. 2 Testosterone administration effected a striking increase the free putrescine. 3 Ornithine decarboxylase (l-ornithine carboxy-lyase; E.C. 4.1.1.17) histidine (l-histidine 4.1.1.22) activities mouse kidney liver were examined. In kidney, following testosterone administration, ornithine activity was found to be substantially elevated, whereas that depressed. liver, by contrast, levels these enzymes not significantly altered treatment. 4 The possibility functional interrelation between histamine, via two enzyme investigated, is discussed.
