High Resolution Switching Mode Inductance-to-Frequency Converter with Temperature Compensation

摘要: This article proposes a novel method for the temperature-compensated inductance-to-frequency converter with single quartz crystal oscillating in switching circuit to achieve better temperature stability of converter. The novelty this lies switching-mode converter, use additionally connected impedances parallel shunt capacitances crystal, and two inductances series crystal. brings considerable reduction influence AT-cut frequency change range between 10 40 °C. oscillator do not only compensate crystal's natural characteristics but also any other influences on such as ageing well from elements. In addition, improves sensitivity inductance measurements. experimental results show that through high compensation improvement characteristics, theoretically enables 2 pH resolution. It converts 85-100 µH 2-560 kHz.
