Sequential detection of web defects

摘要: A system for detecting defects on a moving web having sequential series of identical frames uses an imaging device to form real-time camera image frame and comparitor comparing elements the with corresponding exemplar frame. The provides acceptable indication if pair are determined be statistically identical; defective not identical. If is neither nor defective, recursively compares element said other until one or indications occur.
