摘要: In this study, a double-blind, placebo-controlled approach was used in assessing the effectiveness of hydration treatments clinical management selected voice disorders. Six adult female patients with laryngeal nodules or polyps each received 5 consecutive days treatment and placebo/control treatment. The combined results indicated improvements appearance following both as compared baseline. However, greatest were obtained Although caution about generalization effects to typical situation is emphasized, study provides preliminary evidence therapeutic benefit from polyps. Based on previous theoretical work, may be related reductions viscosity vocal fold tissue, although other explanations are also possible.
