Observations on cell walls of yeasts and some other fungi by x-ray diffraction and solubility tests

摘要: Abstract The occurrence of known cell wall constituents yeasts, viz. yeast mannan, glucan and chitin, in certain yeasts some other fungi has been investigated using pure, chemically intact material applying X-ray diffraction for the detection chitin glucan. Considerable differences between walls those have established. Several new fungal components with characteristic diagrams detected.
