The Concept of Institution in Economics and Sociology, a Methodological Exposition

摘要: Abstract In social science the concept of ‘institution’ plays a very important role. There are, however, significant differences in way is interpreted by different schools thought. Within economics divide between Original Institutional Economics and New Economics. sociology Classical Sociology approaches differently compared with Micro-Sociology interpreting it. Serious methodological make fruitful confrontation almost impossible. This paper shows that synthesis possible.
