摘要: The aim of this chapter is to introduce the reader commonly used software packages and illustrate their input requirements, analysis options, strengths, limitations. We focus on that perform more than one function include a program for quality control, linkage, association analyses. Additional inclusion criteria were (1) programs are free academic users (2) currently supported, maintained, developed. Using those criteria, we chose review three programs: Statistical Analysis Genetic Epidemiology (S.A.G.E.), PLINK, Merlin. will describe required format options. not go into detail about every possible in packages, but give an overview requirements capabilities.
