摘要: The optical path lengths travelled by rays across a wavefront essentially determine the resulting phase front irrespective of shape medium according to principle equal path. Thereupon we propose method for transformation between two arbitrary wavefronts slab, i.e. profile spatial separation is taken be transformed plane surface. Interestingly, mutual conversion planar and curved wavefronts, reduce an inverse in which it reversed desired that converted one. As application, three kinds are realized found on able realize some important properties such as reversal or compensation, self focusing, expanding compressing beams, further confirmed numerical simulations. slab can applied realizing compact electromagnetic devices values refractive index permittivity permeability high low, positive negative, near zero, depending choice coordinate transformations.
