摘要: The new esters derived from a chiral compound containing two OH groups and at least one mesogenic carboxylic acid which have the general formula (I) ##STR1## in X1 =O--H or O--CO--(C1 to C12)alkyl X2 =O--MC denote O-MC independently of each other, where MC is molecular radical monocarboxylic after splitting off an group. substituted aromatic part phenolic preferably find application as admixture intwistable liquid crystal phases they produce temperature compensation high degree twisting.
