Two-wave mixing with externally applied magnetic field and Faraday effect on photorefractive medium

摘要: The two-wave mixing formalism for photorefractive beam coupling is extended to include the effects of an external magnetic field via introduction Faraday effect. Moreover, magnetic-field on perturbed permittivity are also included in analysis given here. It concluded that presence a static causes oscillations between two incident fields, and such effect severe materials diluted semiconductors as was measured experimentally only recently. Numerical results BSO CdMnTe, where first material addition exhibits optical activity, whereas second does not. >
