摘要: The harvested Jatropha fruits need to be cleaned, dehulled and stored properly as part of the production biodiesel. During processing, oil yield quality extracted crude can further improved by removing husks (outer coating) seeds before any necessary seed treatment. This report attempts provide an insight into major issues process from harvesting final storage pretreatment prior extraction in production. describes a few aspects processes including common methods, research technologies involved so that some improving strategies devised. this also current development trends future prospect paper has determined both harvest shelling are basically performed manually, especially rural areas. These activities time consuming introduce high labour cost (80% feedstock cost) potentially make economically uncompetitive. A solution consisting mechanisation mechanical device proposed improve sustainability industry meet increasing world demand. An improvement achieved fruit/seed such drying, heating. However, improper control may lead formation oxidation products free fatty acids which will affect efficiency biodiesel is important issue related
