摘要: This paper describes a fully integrated differential power amplifier (PA) operating at 60 GHz ISM band and implemented in 45nm CMOS technology. The PA is based on distributed active transformer (DAT) topology which enables simultaneous combining realization of an efficient impedance matching. To cope with the asymmetric nature DAT, resulting common-mode unequal voltage-swings its input-ports, this presents two universal methods do not impose any layout restrictions adjustments. realized achieves 13.2dBm output 1dB compression, saturated 16.3dBm, PAE 8.7% 18.7dBm OIP3, while consuming 178mA 1.8V.
