摘要: Abstract Elastic properties of Li 2 O–B O 3 –V 5 glasses have been investigated over a wide range composition. Sound velocities (both longitudinal and transverse) measured using pulse echo superposition method at frequency 10 MHz room temperature. Compositional dependence various elastic moduli, Poisson's ratio Debye temperature has studied as function V concentrations. In general the moduli increase with inter-substitution O/V . However, high (>45 mol%) tend to decrease. The variation in shows that these are mainly made up covalently bonded network insensitive shear stress. results analyzed based on structure boro-vanadate glasses. An is due presence groups like diboro-vanadate tetrahedral trigonal borons. Glasses lithium content indicate reconversion boron from non-bridging oxygens. IR MAS-NMR spectra show characteristic features consistent structural analysis property.
