摘要: Science shop research projects offer possibilities for universities to engage with communities. Many science directly or indirectly intend empower certain marginalised groups interests within a decision-making process. In this article we argue that it is important reflect on the role and position researchers have in these projects. We present three illustrate some of dilemmas may arise relation citizen empowerment, democracy, ethics field action community engagement. reflexivity as strategy creating greater awareness power−knowledge relationship, nature democratic process consequences empowerment other vulnerable groups.
