摘要: This is the first in a series of papers which we describe and report analysis large survey Herbig Ae/Be stars circular spectropolarimetry. Using ESPaDOnS Narval high-resolution spectropolarimeters at Canada-France-Hawaii Bernard Lyot Telescopes, respectively, have acquired 132 circularly polarized spectra 70 candidates. The majority these are characterized by resolving power about 65 000, spectral coverage from 3700A to 1 μm. peak signal-to-noise ratio per CCD pixel ranges below 100 (for faintest targets) over 1000 brightest). observations were with primary aim searching for magnetic fields objects. However, our suitable variety other important measurements, including rotational properties, variability, binarity, chemical abundances, circumstellar environment conditions structure, etc. In this paper, sample selection, their reduction, measurements that will comprise basis much following analysis. We determination fundamental parameters each target. detail least-squares deconvolution (LSD) applied spectra, editing tuning LSD line masks. fitting Stokes I profiles using multicomponent model yields rotationally broadened photospheric profile (providing projected velocity radial observation) as well emission absorption components. Finally, diagnose longitudinal Zeeman effect via measured polarization, field V signature detection probability. As an appendix, provide detailed review star observed.
